Case Study

Overview

A focused read on what the project needed to communicate, how the product surface was shaped, and where the system can grow next.

An Islamic digital platform for prayer times, Al-Quran, doa, qibla, tasbih, and daily worship utilities across web and mobile surfaces.

The Problem

Daily Islamic utilities are often scattered across separate apps, which makes repeat-use worship flows feel fragmented.

The Goal

Create a calm, fast, and modular platform surface that brings core worship utilities into one accessible experience.

Depth Pass

How the product was shaped.

The work is easier to understand as a sequence: context first, then product decisions, then user flow and visual direction.

01

Context

  • Moslemic needed a product surface that could support utility, content, and future personalization without feeling crowded.
  • The public website was unavailable during capture, so the current portfolio visual uses the live web app surface.

02

Approach

  • I treated the app as a daily dashboard with quick actions, prayer context, and repeat-use modules.
  • The system was kept modular so worship tools and content areas can grow independently.

03

User Flow

  • User opens the app, checks prayer context, then moves into Quran, doa, qibla, tasbih, or daily content.
  • The dashboard pattern keeps high-frequency actions visible without burying them in deep navigation.

04

Design Direction

  • Soft blue and white dashboard cards make the product feel calm, practical, and mobile-friendly.
  • Icon grids and compact widgets help the app stay readable across phone and desktop web contexts.

Stack & architecture notes

The product is structured as a multi-surface utility platform: app shell, content modules, quick actions, and account-ready growth areas.

Result / Next Layer

What the build makes possible.

Result

  • The live app gives Moslemic a credible base for daily Islamic utility usage beyond a static website.
  • The platform can expand into reminders, saved content, learning plans, and premium modules.

Future Layer

  • Strengthen personalization around saved progress, notification preferences, and location-aware prayer data.
  • Add editorial workflows for Quran plans, articles, lessons, and community campaigns.
