The Problem

A personalized physical product needs to explain the emotional value and production process before parents feel ready to order.

The Goal

Make the child-as-main-character promise clear, then guide families through language, book selection, personalization, preview, and gift delivery.

Depth Pass

How the product was shaped.

The work is easier to understand as a sequence: context first, then product decisions, then user flow and visual direction.

01

Context

  • Boonari introduces a custom storybook model where trust, preview clarity, and gift value need to appear immediately.
  • The website needs to speak to parents while explaining that the product is personalized before production.

02

Approach

  • I shaped the first screen around the child's role in the story and supported it with clear steps and reassurance blocks.
  • Language selection, catalog discovery, preview expectations, and delivery messaging were kept close to the primary CTA.

03

User Flow

  • Parent chooses language, understands the gift concept, browses the storybook path, then starts personalization.
  • The flow explains choose book, fill name and character, preview, then print or send as a gift.

04

Design Direction

  • Warm editorial color, friendly cards, and soft product visuals create a family-oriented gift experience.
  • The interface avoids heavy commerce pressure and keeps the experience approachable.
